Liz and Ed’s canvas petal marquee country wedding

A typical fun-filled wedding case-study brimming with rustic country chic!

Here are a few images from a lovely real wedding using our canvas petal wedding marquee.

The set of lakeside wedding photos were captured by Sam Docker (@samdocker.co), a wedding photographer who is based in Derbyshire but available internationally and does some great work. If you would like to see the full blog full of stunning wedding photography later go to Sam's wedding photography blog here.

Interestingly, this is an occasion when the bride booked another wedding photographer to catch her own wedding as she is a fabulous photographer too!

These beautiful pictures are from Liz and Ed’s Leicestershire wedding near the truly beautiful Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire. (Kelmarsh Hall is also a lovely wedding venue near Market Harborough and actually the venue for one of our favourite festivals to work and perform at; Shambala Festival!)

It’s a little while ago now but, from memory, the paddock where the marquee was installed,  was at a friend of the couples house and was half way through being landscaped but you wouldn’t be able to tell from how stunning the photos are.

The Petal marquee, which is made of a cream white coloured canvas fabric, has wooden poles and decorative finials and with the natural ropes it evokes that traditional rustic vibe that many couples seek. This size tent which we call be her fun name "Scoopy Do", is normally suitable for around 80-100 guests at a wedding breakfast but it does depend on what else is inside the tent such as dance floor and bar or lounge space. If you have more guests to consider the marquee can be hired as a bigger 3 king pole 9x21m style and we also have matching other tents to create catering tents or Prosecco serving tents, break-out lounges and relaxing chill spaces.

Pictured here the choice of rustic farmhouse trestle tables and cross back chairs set the scene for an elegant dining tablescape while the fairy lights and vintage lighting hung down from the overhead wagon wheel add to the ambience and the added disco ball and party lights just make you dance.

It's very nice to see what the tent looks like in the dark from the inside and the outside too as you need to consider the late night scenario too.

What a stylish wedding dress and beautiful floral bridal headpiece too! A truly chic country wedding where the atmosphere was a lot of fun!

Thank you for having us Liz and Ed..we hope you are having a great married life!
